The Blank Table Announces 2024 Season Dates

Chrome City Creative Studio presents its most extensive culinary season yet with the highly anticipated return of The Blank Table, an underground dinner series founded by San Diego native Alexandria Ott. Tickets to all four dinners (April 18, June 6, September 26 and November 1) will go on sale this Thursday, February 8th on Eventbrite. The 4-part series will feature the culinary talent and leadership from Be Saha Hospitality Group, whose concepts include Tahona, Oculto 477, Wormwood, Botanica, Tahona Baja and more. 

The 2024 season of The Blank Table will feature a few surprise guest chefs as well as culinary leaders from Chicago, Oaxaca and Mexico City. The team has also secured world renowned mixologists to join the cast and give 50 special guests the experience of a lifetime.  The Blank Table's commitment to culinary excellence continues to shine as it showcases the talents of local, rising and international chefs and mixologists throughout the 4-part season. Confirmed dates and current details for each dinner include

  • Thursday, April 18th: This evening promises a distinctive and carefully curated dining experience with Chef Carlo Guardado of Be Saha Hospitality and Chef Janina Garay, Culinary Director of Be Saha Hospitality,  in collaboration with Mario Guerra, owner of Leucadia Co. which includes Valentina, Moto Deli, Corner Pizza, Hamburger Hut and soon—Vale Bodega. The trio of culinary greats will give guests a curated 5-course dinner at an undisclosed location with wine pairings from Ricardo Zarate Jr, Level 2 Sommelier, of Valentina. 

  • Thursday, June 6th: Delight in the culinary mastery of Jonathan Zaragoza (of Chicago’s famed Birrieria Zaragoza and El Oso) and Frida Lucia (of Tijuana’s Aruba Day Drink, top 50 best bars in the world and top 10 at Tales of the Cocktail), promising an extraordinary fusion of power and creativity through the rich cultural heritage of each guest and their stunning extraction of the flavors of Mexico. 

  • Thursday, September 26th: We have a surprise guest chef poised to join our culinary ensemble, adding an extra layer of excitement and anticipation to our already spectacular event. 

  • Friday, November 1st: The final dinner of the series concludes with an evening celebrating Dia de los Muertos. Welcoming back Chef Janina Garay and Chef Carlo Guardado of Be Saha Hospitality Group, culinary will be led by Tahona’s Chef Adrian Villarreal and mixologist Marina Ferreira of Botanica. 


Past seasons have seen guest chefs including Chef Claudia Sandoval of Master Chef and recent James Beard Semifinalist Nominee for Best Chef: California, Chef Tara Monsod, Executive Chef of Animae. At $175 per person and a season pass for $600 to attend all four dinners, tickets will likely sell out as they have each season since the launch of The Blank Table in 2019.  With the purchase of a season pass, patrons secure their place at each event and enjoy the full spectrum of culinary creations that vary from mansions to harbors and more. “Each dinner is distinctly different from the last because we are a team of creatives seeking to push the boundary on every level,” said TBT Co-Founder Alexandria Ott. “The need to connect with other humans has never stopped and we are here to serve San Diego a big dose of creation, community and a damn good time.”
